Three-wheel strollers are ideal for parents who need to run errands or runners. A lot of them have the same features as 4-wheel strollers, such as storage, a child tray and a parent console.
The writers of the guide test the strollers on and off pavement and evaluated their smoothness. They also evaluated comfort and convenience features like a seat that reclines completely.
The Chariot Cross
Thule designed the Chariot Cross for families who aren't content in the inside, and they created it with a solid structure that allows them to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about their kids safety or comfort. The adjustable suspension of the Chariot allows you to tailor the ride to your child's needs and willingness to embark on new adventures.
The Chariot Cross is a favorite for joggers due to its smooth ride and exceptional agility on all terrains. It also offers plenty of storage space and a drop-down basket that can be compressed to minimize the impact on your stride while running. It's an excellent option for families who want to combine outdoor activities, since it can be used alongside strolling, cycling and ski equipment.
The Chariot stands out from other strollers with three wheels due to its superior passenger comfort. The seats are cushioned on the shoulders and sides and the users can adjust the reclining seats to find the ideal position to rest or take in the scenery. The mesh ventilation on the Chariot lets passengers enjoy a cool breeze, making it a great choice for hot weather.
Another benefit of the Chariot is that the front and back of the seat recline independently of each other, which is a nice feature for older children who want to take a break or read during longer journeys. Contrary to the D'Lite which has only a solid top panel and a solid top panel, the Chariot Cross offers a viewing window as well as a large rear canopy that allows for greater visibility.
Like other Thule products The Chariot Cross is easy to put together. The instructions are simple and the process takes about 30-45 minutes. It's small enough to gate check if you're traveling by plane, and it can be folded down for easy transport to the back of your car.
The only downside to the Chariot is that it does not accept infant car seats. This might restrict its appeal to certain parents. However, if you're looking for a double stroller that can be used with car seat carriers, you should take a look at the Joovy Twin Roo+. It's a similar product that also accepts a wide selection of infant car seats brands, but it's slightly more expensive and doesn't give the same smooth ride as the Chariot.

It is important to remember that folding the Lite requires some balance. This process takes around 4 seconds and is slower than other lightweight strollers we've tested.
